Hi, I have the weekend, that is it. I have a $300 handycam, no budget and no actors but myself. I have tossed around the idea of found footage but after some tests have found out I can't act so, that's a little hard. I'm also thinking about a movie with no actors, no, not stop motion or anything. This is where im stuck, I can't think up any way to do acmovie that won't be hipster BS without actors. Open Question: Why do people think actors are the characters they play?
Like, in The Social Network, lots of people on the internet were complaining about Brenda Song's character, and how different it was from her character in Zack & Cody. Saying stupid things like the bathroom scene in the film " ruined their childhood" or made " her look like a slut" .There are also instances where people will refer to the actor as their character, even in person when meeting them.Since when is playing a different character a bad thing? Why do so many people make the mistake of thinking that actors are the characters they play?

Resolved Question: If everyone talks about how hard it is to get a role in a movie, then how are actors introduced?
Everyone always talks about how hard it is to get cast in a movie, but then how do actors get " introduced" into a movie with no previous acting experience, Then they're basically instantly famous and the money starts coming. Are they just that good at acting? How do they even get an audition or a chance without previous experience? I just don't get it. Thanks

Too gross of a concept?so me and my friends shot a short parody on the Kardashians. The actress playing Kim has a scene where she is pregnant and giving birth, only without warning she blasts a massive load of crap at the doctor. The crew cast thought it was hilarious, but for an audience, is that too much?the joke is, Kim is always made fun of for her massive butt... so he thought it would be funny if she gave birth out it lol
